This is our final week of corporate fasting. Whether you have been successful thus far or have fallen short a few times, try to finish this week strong! Return to your prayer list and finish out the daily devotional on the CCOG page of the Bible app.

Next month our focus shifts to sharing love in the ways that Jesus would. What did Jesus do that was loving? He gave. He welcomed interruptions. He spent time with friends. He had fellowship with all types of people. He fed the hungry. What is He calling you to do this month?

This Sunday, February 1 is First Sunday Meal. The theme for the day is Souper Bowl. You are welcome to bring anything you'd like, of course. But may we suggest soups, salads, sandwiches, or other sides/toppings for soups? Bring people to join you to finish out the Fruit of the Spirit and enjoy a meal.

Two fellowship events are happening next Saturday, February 7. First, the men are having their time of fellowship at Coffee House Diner (1449 Wilkesboro Hwy, Statesville) at 8:30am. Also, the ladies are heading to Grace Covenant Cornelius for the Transformed Conference. Tickets are $25 for Friday & Saturday.

The Lake Norman Community Pregnancy Center raised over a million dollars last year to help women and babies in crisis! Our church was a part of that, and will be this year, as well. Fill your baby bottles with change, cash, or checks. Get friends and family involved with giving. The bottle return date is February 15.

Keep bringing in those warm items to place into the shoeboxes. This season reminds us that many people near and far are cold. Consider getting hats, scarves, gloves, or any other warm contribution. Your giving makes a huge impact!
