As we focus on missions this month, let's be in prayer for those in our Jerusalem (those closest to us), Judea (those with whom we share commonalities), Samaria (underserved people groups), and the Uttermost Parts (strangers near and far) and look for ways to minister to them.

church fellowship
CCOG has received a special invitation from Journey Church in Huntersville. On Sunday, August 23, I will be preaching at the 9am and 11am services. Join me as we go outside the walls of our local church to fellowship with other believers.
5th sunday
August has five Sundays! That means, of course, that we will enjoy breakfast and Bible study in the fellowship hall on August 30th. Be sure to sign up to bring an item for our breakfast.
Operation christmas child
This month, we are helping prepare kiddos for school. Bring all types of school supplies (except liquid glue) for the shoeboxes. Your donations of boxes and/or shipping costs are always appreciated, as well.
