| Keep in mind the giving that we have been asked to contribute to the FACES ministry in Ecuador. Sometime this month, give the cost a meal (you decide if that is a Value Meal or a meal from a fancy restaurant) to the cause of missions. If you have been able to get a giving slip, give that amount in the offering. |

This Sunday, August 23rd there will be no service at the CCOG campus. Instead, we have all been invited to Journey Church in Huntersville. I will be preaching at both the 9am and 11 am services. Communicate with one another so that we can see each other/sit together in whichever service you choose to attend.
5th sunday
The final Sunday this month - August 30th - is a fifth Sunday! We plan to enjoy Waffle House style hashbrowns! There is a sign -up sheet for you to add your name to be able to contribute. Both breakfast and Bible study will be in the fellowship hall.
Operation christmas child
Keep those school supplies coming! We want to be able to provide plenty of supplies for the entire school year. We have plenty of crayons and we cannot include glue, but anything else is fair game! We also need more shoeboxes and shipping money.
