  • communion

    This Sunday, October 4th is World Communion Day. If you were at CCOG this past Sunday, you received a country to pray for. Continue to do so this week. Then join us this Sunday as we celebrate around the table of the Lord with believers throughout the world.

  • church planning day

    October 4th is also our church planning session. Stay after service for lunch (which will be provided), and planning. We will be mindful of the time so as not to keep you too long. Your opinions are important to what we plan for 2027.

  • october focus

    We shift our focus in the month of October to the men and women who keep us safe - first responders. If you have a first responder in your life, send them a "Thank You" card this month. Be praying for police, firefighters, and EMT's. There will also be a chance to contribute to these brave people.

  • help for the homeless

    On Saturday, October 17th there is an opportunity to help our homeless neighbors. Hearts2Hands will be ministering with food, clothing, and supplies in uptown Charlotte. Sign up to volunteer: https://www.heartstohandsclt.org/

  • Operation christmas child

    If you have not yet gotten a ball or a doll, you have the rest of this week to bring them in. The suggestion for October is hair care. Things like brushes, combs, hats, and hairbows are what we suggest for the next contribution. It's less than 2 months until we pack our shoeboxes, so get in your donations soon!

    May - coloring books, crayons

    June - jump rope

    July - toiletries

    August - school supplies

    September - ball or doll

    October - hair care

    November - box and sox
